Rob has over 25 years of experience in Financial Services, is CEO of Stroud Wealth Management and a Senior Partner of St. James’s Place.

Over his time in wealth management, Rob has acquired both the knowledge and experience to advise clients and business owners to successfully secure and enhance their financial futures, giving them the confidence that their wealth is getting the focus and attention it deserves.

Rob is a Chartered Financial Planner, qualified through the Personal Finance Society which is part of the Chartered Insurance Institute Group. Chartered status is the most widely accepted “Gold Standard” qualification available for professional financial advisers in the United Kingdom. Only a limited number of advisers hold this title and even fewer firms meet the criteria to be listed as Chartered practices. In 2016 Rob went a step further and qualified as a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, the highest qualification awarded by the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Having started his career with Lloyds Bank in the late 1990s, Rob enjoyed working closely with Scottish Widows and Lloyds Private Banking. He was one of Lloyds Banking Group’s most successful Financial Advisers. Rob acquired wide ranging skills and experience, during a period of volatile markets and high regulatory focus.

In 2008, Rob was invited to become a Partner of The St. James’s Place Partnership. He saw this as a unique opportunity to offer clients a more personal, bespoke service. In 2012 Stroud Wealth Management became a Senior Partner Practice at St. James’s Place and continues to offer clients a highly experienced, multi-adviser team of experts able to meet a wide range of financial planning needs.

Rob prides himself in offering the very finest personal service and appreciates the importance of integrity and professionalism. Committed to building long-term, multi-generational relationships, Rob establishes trust by putting the needs of his clients at the heart of everything he does.

Rob lives in Folkestone and is married with two daughters. In his spare time he enjoys going to the gym, playing squash, walking, cycling and motorbikes.

The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up.  You may get back less than you invested.
